June 7-Boodreaux, the host of his very own Boondocques Radio Show, left us with a few anecdotes and thoughts on Steve's potential theme songs. We eliminated the first song and have moved to the top eight. We also talked about the great situation for both the NHL and NBA and their finals.
May 31-UCF interim Head coach, Craig Cozart, called us up to tell us about the UCF Baseball, the College World Series, and even a few things about Major League Baseball. We talked about Steve losing his bet to Jerry Greene, and potential theme songs for our newest regular guest journalist, Steve Chapman.
May 24-Orlando Sentinel columnist Jerry Greene joined us and told us not to be surprised if Boston came back to win the series. Hawgwild Fishing Show anchor Steve Chapman disputed that and called out Jerry with an attempt to make an online bet. Assuming that the Florida Gambling commission doesn't take umbrage with us, we will sort that our next week. We also talked about female athletes and whether they use their sexuality to sell their skills.
May 17-Lacrosse expert Andrew Worrell came in and told us about the NCAA Lacrosse tournament, predicting a Duke/Syracuse finals. He talked about all eight teams remaining and the chances each has of winning. Finally, he told us about the Major League Lacrosse variations and some of the reasons they struggle to make it happen.
May 10-Award-winning journalist Jack Laster visited us to talk about his favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the state of Major League Baseball in general. He predicted (several hours before it happened) the demotion of Jason Isringhausen. He was pleased with the start of both Florida teams. |
May 3-Matt told us about his word "simpatico" and how he felt Sports stories that tug on your heart strings help Sports reach a different dimension. It is where sports becomes more than just a competition that just a few like and becomes a viewing that everyone can appreciate.
April 26-We had NFL Draft Expert, Jorge Caravia, came in studio and dropped some knowledge on us. We know that noone in the state of Florida knows what he does about the NFL draft!
April 19-We
interviewed Pat Williams,
Executive Vice President of the Orlando Magic. He told us about his new book,
Souls of Steel and talked about the Magic's first round matchup,
upcoming draft, and thoughts for the future.
April 12-We
interviewed the Goober brothers--Sam and Brandon--and talked about the NHL
Playoffs. We got valuable insight and their predictions. We will definitely
be joining them again as the Playoffs progress.
April 5-We
interviewed farm team coach and professional scout, Steve Atwater. He talked
us through the MLB Season and made predictions about division winners. We'll
check these predictions out come September! To check out descriptions of all the episodes, click here. |
